I am using mstsc.exe through a cisco VPN client to connect to our remote database server (windows 2003 standard). After logging in with my account I receive an error stating:
User Environment Error Box
"Windows cannot load the user's profile, but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.
Detail: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
There is a 30 second countdown to hit "ok" or the system automatically logs you in with the default profile.
I've checked resources on this profile and everything appears fine. However I no loner have access to drive mappings, shortcuts, etc and can't copy or paste items, so I can't work. I did reboot the system last week when this happened and it was fixed until today. However I'd prefer not to reboot everytime since this is our database server for the website and this has to be done early morning. Can someone tell me what could be causing this issue and what I can do to correct it.
