Remote desktop connection

Hi I have netgear router and Fast access DSL Ultra connection. And I have three computers in my home that is connected with Netgear wireless router. I want to access my computer in my workplace through Remote Desktop Connection. Can you help me how to do that?.

My home computer OS is Windows Vista Home.

ideally you'd need a static ip on your dsl line and also would have to enable remote connections on your boxes at home.

well with the remote connection, you only want to use that after you've connected to the remote lan, becasue using remote desktop from work to your home dsl modem will only get you that far, you won't be able to go further to another computer. so you first need to set up a vpn. then use that tunnel to connect from work to home then use the remote desktop to connect to a pc. heres a setup for the vpn:

Do I need to do any configuration in my Home Wireless router? I am using Netgear wireless router. What IP Address, User Name and password I need to provide in the VPN connection?
