Question
VPN Connection Error 806 Netgear WGR614
The VPN connection between computer and the VPN Server could not be completed.
I used to connect my work computer through VPN. It works fine until I move CABLE to DSL.
Same system, same router but different Internet provider I am wondering that should have an configuration Issue. Can anyone help me to fix this issue.

Typically an 806 error means that the connection between your computer and the VPN server has been established but the VPN connection cannot be completed. The most common cause for this is that there is at least one internet device (Router, Switch, etc) between your computer and the
VPN server is not configured to allow GRE protocol packets.
Contact your ISP (Cable provider) and verify that protocol 47 (GRE) is allowed through thier network. Most hotels, for example, will not allow VPN connections for some odd reason.
