No network connectivity after windows server 2003 sp2 upgrade

hi - i have an old hp proliant g1 server running windows server 2003. i have just updated the OS to sp2. Since then the server will not connect to anything on the network and nothing can connect to it. It has a HP NC3163 NIC. I have tried updating the drivers for this but thins has not fixed my problem. I have also played around with the windows firewall settings but still no luck.

The server is a domain controller and a file & print server. It also acts as a dns & dhcp server.

Everything looks ok. The network card shows up as connected in the systray and if I pull out the cable it shows it as being disconnected. From reading other such issues I thought it would be the NIC drivers but it seems not.

Any help here is much appreciated.Start Free Trial
