thoughputs & disk seek

my dell m1330 has 2.2ghz processor and 3.5gb ram. it came preoloaded with window vista and is a faitly recent purchase. on running the reliabilty and performance monitor i am receiving error messges stating

 " average disk queue length is 1. disk may be at its maximum  transfer capacity due to throughput & disk seeks"...

what exactly does this mean and how can i resolve this problem??? i have also included the results of the diagnostic test below
