Unable to load local profile

I have a notebook that had some hardware issues so I had removed the hard drive to take all the data off of it.
The problem turned out to be memory, but when I put the hard drive back in I kept getting the error when I log inn indicating Windows cannot load the user profile and the default profile will be used instead.
I was also getting some other errors regarding rights.

I went through and ensured the profile (which is an administratoir profiel on the machine) had sufficient rights to the Documents and Setting folder. I also granted ownership of that folder and all subsequent folders to this profile.

I am still getting the error message although it appears to load the profile anyway.
I see the correct wallpapaer and the desktop appears as it was before.

Does anyone why I would still be getting this error message or the best way to resolve it?

From reading I see that the profile may be corrupt. If this is the case is there a nice easy way to bring over all settings (outlook settings, desktop etc...) over to a new profile? I would like to keep the same username due to the many different networks I connect to. I have the same username and password on all those networks so it make my job much easier that way.Start Free Trial
