Installing Software

Asked by wball1217 in Microsoft Operating Systems, Miscellaneous Software, MS System Center

I am trying to install a few basic programs line Adobe Reader and others.  But I cannot install anything because another program is being installed.  I do not know what the system is trying to install but it's not something I'm trying to install.  I'm running Windows XP SP2 with all the updates.  How do I cancel an install that I cannot see?  It must be from some past install that never went thru and is just waiting on something...Start Free Trial
