Silent / Unattended install of Windows XP SP3?
With the introduction of SP3 for Windows XP, I'm looking for a way to have it installed silently or unattended from the RIS server to the users.
We have an unattended install script for Office and a silent install for Symantec anti-virus client. Is there something for XP's sp3?

copy the XP SP3 in a common folder share that folder and give permisions to everyone , create a script and add to all the windows xp machine startup and when the system boots it will start to install , unattended installation is only if you need to give your inputs while installation .

Personally, I would wait a bit more before installing sp3. Try searching just this site for sp3 and you will find quite a few problems that were caused by the update. I am recommending to my associates and friends to wait at least another 3 months before trying it out. From what I have seen, for every 1 successful install, there were 4-5 bad ones.
