my laptop tells me that a Windows file is missing or corrupt, the following appears on the screen,
<Windows root>\system32\hal.dll
At that point I am unable to proceed further on the laptop, I have internet access on this desktop, would I be able to copy the above file from a location so as to load it on the laptop.
