How do I add former DC/AD to another domain?

Asked by arnevee in Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Server

I have a good DC with Windows 2003  STD. It's working fine with, AD and not much else.
I need to move this server to a sister company and add it to another domain. Is there a recommended Procedure that anyone can point me to? Do I need to demote prior to connecting to other domain?Start Free Trial
