Recent Documents will not respond in Office

I have a customer who has Vista installed and whenever he tries to start programs in Microsoft Office in the recent programs list, the short cut it fails to respond. For example if he was recently using word and wanted to access it again then clicked on the short cut nothing will happen. Start Free Trial
