domain password changed but pc wont accept it over vpn

I have 3 pcs and Im logging on to them over a vpn connection at the moment.
The other day I changed my password (on my laptop, windows xp) on one of our sites as it prompts you to every so many days (windows 2003 AD).
I also have another 2 pcs which i log on to through using the same user name, one is xp and the other is windows 2000 server.

When i log on to the other 2 pc's i now get an error and a prompt asking me to change my password, so i do and its incorrect. This happens every time i change my password over the vpn

Is there any way of stopping this from happening or is there someway to resolve it rather than resetting the password in AD every timeStart Free Trial
