Getting old NT4.0 and W2003 Server to work together with Trust relations ships

I have:

1) A Windows NT4.0 SP6a Domain using WINS running in one Subnet with PDC & BDC.
2) A Win 2003 Std AD using DHCP & DNS running in another subnet with 2 DC's (1 primary & 1 secondary)
[both are connected via private WAN]

I have created a trust relationship between the two domains by following the Instruction on MS (documents 180094 & 325874). Which basically states:
1) create LMHOSTS entries on both primary servers for the trust - done no problem
2) once 1 is working, create a two-way trust on the 2003 server - done no problem
3) once 1 & 2 are done, create a Tursted & Trusting Trust in the NT4.0 - done no problem
4) validate the trust on the W2003 server (in and out) - done no problem

And I am sure the trust is working, as from these two servers, I can access shares on each other. but only from these two servers and only by using \\NBName or \\IPAddress in Net neighborhood. I am expecting it is because of our two differing address resolutions (1 WINS the other DNS/DHCP). I have to believe that some one out there has done this before, and am wondering if anyone has the final steps I would need to get these two domains showing up in Network neighborhood as we were hoping.
