Thanks Professa,
Would the Microsoft Ram checker program not show some sort of error if the problem was with the RAM?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsHello,
Every time a client boots into windows he gets the following error message:
One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered.
It was going on a long time before I got to it so system restore was not an option
I have tried
Chkdsk
SFC
Microsoft memory checker
UPHClean
Registry cleaner
all to no avail.
I have also taken the ntuser.dat file from the windows repair folder and replaced his ntuser.dat with it in the hope that something would be rebuilt correctly. Then I copied his old one back but the problem was still there.
Any ideas or thoughts gratefully received.

Remove one at a time and check. If it only comes with one chip installed then try it with a working one from another machine.
Hopefully this helps!
