Can't get rid of failed application error on startup because it doesn't actually tell me what the application is and it isn't showing up in Event Viewer under Applications

Have you checked your event viewer? Also, send us your HijackThis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/hijackthis.php) log.

That was the entire log I got rid of
