New to WMI

I am developing an application in c# for monitoring the idle time(means the time when last input was received by the remote system) of the remote machine. I am able to do it on my local machine using GetLastInputInfo of User32.dll but don't know how to do it for remote machine. Please some code snippets so that I can do it using WMI with langauge c#. Thanx in advance.

Sorry, there's nothing in WMI that natively gives you want you are looking for.

Thanx Steve.
I asked this question in concern with WMI becoz I heard that we can monitor a remote system usin WMI. If not than do u know any other methd to do so. I dont want to install any program on remote computer. I am able to do it on local machine by importing user32.dll. I just want to know how it is possible to do so for remote machine without running a program on remote machine. Or if we can run a program locally for remote computer to get the information from remote machine's User32.dll.

WMI can monitor a lot of things on a remote system, HID activity is not one of them. You will have to install a piece of software on the remote system.

Here is the C# code to monitor Idle Time.  All you'll need to do is adapt it to read a remote machine vs the local machine.  I think this is what you are looking for.
