Browse All TopicsI have attached a picture that is on my web site. You can see that it doesn't display right when viewed on IE7 from a client computer. The picture is fine on my web server. Why does it display like this and sometimes it is fine ? Is it on the server side or the client side? How do I fix this ? I am running IE7 (Windows XP Pro) on the client side and the web server is running Windows Server 2003.

Can you save the image once it is in the browser. Then use a tool to compare the saved image vs the original image.
Save the image several times and see if they also compare safely.
You can use something like ...
FC /b original.jpg saved.jpg
Be prepared for a LOT of data if it is different.
You could also use a tool like Wireshark to see if the communication of the image is the same. Is the request the same every time.
Make sure your browser is set to always get the file for every request.
How do I set my browser to the file for every request ? I am using two computer, one running IE7 the other IE8. They both have the same problem. Do you see similiar problems if you click through the pictures on my web site:
