if there is a Ram increase or decrease can i see when this has happend from any log's

there is no log that I am aware of, but you should be able to tell what was there. use this;
open a command window and type;
Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_dev
Start devmgmt.msc
from the view menu select "Show Hidden"
When devices are removed, there drivers and settings still hang out, and this shoud show you them. Items that are not attached will appear faded.

Usually not, since that is a BIOS function, and although a registry item may be chnaged, there will probably be no history.
