Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I am being told by a fellow geek that if you put more than 2Gig RAM on a machine running WIndows XP Pro that it'll only appreicate/use the first 2Gig and the rest is waisted? This is a 32Bit processor. I recently put 4Gig in a machine that was running only 1Gig and see a difference; but he says it's only the additional 1 Gig that is being seen/used.
I'm asking for specific documentation to win this debate - who can get it for me. Again... SPECIFIC DOCUMENTATION!
