Main Topics
Browse All Topicswe have demoted several dcs. the demotion process seem to work fine. these former dcs are now standalone servers. when running netdiags on the domain. in the enterprise results, these former dcs are referenced. the report says to clean up dcs sysvol frs member object, see kb q312862. i have researched this and the article references recovering the dcs. I do not want to recover them. I wish to remove any references to them, as they are no longer dcs and the servers will never be promoted to a dc again. any direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
