Yes. In fact it was the only drive at the time.
The only relevant item in that list in the link is about the 7.8gB limit. However, if I make the 'second' drive the boot drive in the BIOS, it boots OK.
But it has a boot.ini that references the 'first' drive. Again, It reports the same error (missing 'ntoskrnl.exe ') if I select the OS on the first drive- rdisk(0).

did you install the windows on the second disk while it was the active one? m/issues/c h000646.ht m
that might then be the problem, as the file ntoskrnl, as to the installation, was on the "other" disk, which is however no longer on the same "place"...
check out the suggestions here to replace the file, eventually:
