I have a lite pc with a intel mother board and EIDE drive that instead of putting in one 100 gig or bigger drive, I want to use up some of my smaller drives by putting in 2 smaller drives. I want to install the Operating system onto one drive and then set up the pc so that it will automatically install all the downloads and whatever software i install from a cd onto the 2nd drive.
In other words. I think the pc will always run fast if I just have the OS on one drive, and the software programs i install and the downloads onto the 2nd drive. But, I want the pc to automatically by default install all the downloads and software onto the 2nd drive.. understand?
I'm thinking like have a 30 gig for windows xp on the 1st drive, and maybe have a 60 gig for the 2nd drive.
If you have any questions, please ask. thanks,
Dave
