How do I login after changing from domain to network in XP pro?

changed my computer to network from domain setting. Now I can't login

Login with the local adminstrator account.

If you took your PC off of the domain then you cannot use a domain account to login.
You will need a local account.
If you don't know of one the 'administrator' account, by default has a blank password, and that *MIGHT* work.

Otherwise, join back to the domian.
Login.
Create a local user account.
Leave the domain again.
Login with your local account.

Ooooh, too early.
You can't log in to join back to the domain...  That's a problem.
If you don't know a local account and administrator won't work you're going to have a tough time.

Let us know if you can get on the administrator account.

If you cannot login als administrator then you can use an ERD Commander boot cd from Winternals to change the password with the Locksmith tool.

I could have used this answer. Instead, I used the computer XP restore disk and interrupted the process where one can change the administraor password. Once we did that, we discontinued the  restore and were able to log in as administrator on the local PC. Thank you.
