Question

MCSE 2003 to 2008 upgrades

Asked by: Sid_F

I'm just wondering if anyone has done the upgrade exams for MCSE from 2003 to 2008. I thought there was one upgrade exam but there appears to be three. I used some old testking questions for the mcse 2003 as well as the books and labs etc.

Can anyone advise on their experience of the exam and what material they used or recommend. Below is the upgrade path  as per Microsoft.

Thanks

MCSE on Windows Server 2003
 MCITP: Enterprise Administrator
Exam 70-649: TS: Upgrading Your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008

and

Exam 70-647: PRO: Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator

and either

Exam 70-680: TS: Windows 7, Configuring

or

Exam 70-620: TS: Configuring Microsoft Windows Vista Client

or

Exam 70-624: TS: Deploying and Maintaining Windows Vista Client and 2007 Microsoft Office System Desktops

There is no MCSE for the 2008 servers. MS did away with MCSE and now it's more job-based.

I'm really looking for advice from people who have done the upgrade exams in relation to whether there was a big difference between the mcse and what material test questions etc.

I have done 649 its same like any other MCSE exams. But the only difference is that you have 3 sections and you need to get the minimum pass criteria on each section to get through.I have used Pass4sure.com.
