Browse All TopicsAttached are my settings that I have setup in GPO for WSUS 3.2 SP 2. Right now I have a combination of settings. One being Configure Automatic Updates in the schedule time and what to do with the updates, see schedule snapshot below. I was wondering if my choice of having Allow Automatic Updates immediate installation will work along side of my other settings. My goal here is that after I approve them in WSUS. Then 1: pm comes around (13:00 hours) that the client would grab from WSUS and then start installing them. Is there a 90 minute timeline before the next choice in this policy takes place? Where as the Selected Schedule settings happens and then 90 minutes later the immediate installation happens. Or should I just choose allow automatic updates immediate installation being that Im manually approving them in WSUS?
Thanks

I use WSUS set to allow automatic updates immediate installation as i too manually approving updates
I also pre approve certain updates per o/s, product and group e.g. i have a group called XP Pro with all the desktop's in, a 2003 group with all our servers etc with pre approved installs to members of the groups however new updates are manually approved..
