getting a blue screen and "System_Service_Exception" in windows 7

I just UPGRADED from Vista 64 Business to Win 7 Professional. All seemed well although took a long time to upgrade. Since then I am getting a blue screen with the message System_Service_Exception-0x0000003b  "and system restarts.

I tried upgrading the ATI graphics driver which the system was flagging as a problem, now no problems flagged but I still get the same message.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated
