I didn't need to rejoin the domain. How do I update the DNS records for the new server mac address?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI had my main file server go down and found the problem to be the motherboard. I replaced the motherboard and now I can't access the server shares by name. I can get to them by IP address. I also can only get to my printers by using the ip of the server. The motherboard has an integrated nic. The server is my file, dns, dhcp, and head active directory server.

I don't know if it was because after I replaced the mother board in my PDC the system date and time was off by years or what, but this worked and everything is up and running.
