We have several 2008 SP2 servers on different ESX host with NNTP disabled. The issues is the 2008 servers are having constant time issues with the following event entry. Names removed to protect the innocent. Notice the time stamps and time changes.

how often this time changes occur??
it looks like simple VM Tools Time Synch, but even its normal when system time change, it change via VMware ESX Server and its normal, eventually strange may be time differences, for example my time changes on w2k8 R2 x64 on ESX 4.0 comes maybe once per 10 days and correct about 20sec difference and itsabsolutely normal.
this time changes on guests happens even U have or not have NTP Enabled on ESX hosts.

id you do the command sntp /query it should tell you which is the servers time sync. Are any of your DC's virtual? IF so dont get them to sync witn vmtools to the esx host, this is due to idle VM's not getting cpu time cycles and thus the time will waver. Get the DCs to sync with an external time source and the win2k8 servers should auto sync with a DC. ALso are you sure your PDC emulator is working fine? check this using the dcdiag command.
