Cannot move folders into other folders because of restrictions?
Whenever I try to move a folder into another folder, Windows asks me for permission and when I click "accept" to accept the permissions, it fails and asks for me to try again.
I am running Windows Vista and this is very irritating. What should I do?

Try this, under programs right click windows explorer and select run as administrator. Then try to move the folders. Hope this helps

Go to controlpanel>User accounts>click Turnuser account control on or off>uncheck the box use user account control( UAC) to help protect your computer.

Boot your computer into safe mode. go to the files that you are trying to copy/move select them all and right click, go to properties>security>advanc ed>owner>e dit and add your account. Then try to move them. Preferably in safe mode to ensure that no other program is using it.

Ack, I know, I'm sorry, I selected the wrong one by accident :(
