OK, I am the admin and I made the owner, changed the properties to full control. &nbsp;I've stopped and restarted the print spooler. <br />

Only time will tell.

Several weeks have passed. &nbsp;The PC was shutdown restarted, several printer issues were resolved , but the spoolsrv problem never recurred. &nbsp;Thanks for fixing a major annoyance!

I have a Win 7 Professional 64-bit laptop that I use i three different offices with three different printers. &nbsp;I have installed all the windows updates and made sure all the drivers are up to date. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
Indepndent of what I do or where I am, the Windows print spooler stops. &nbsp;I can restart it and restore the ability to print. &nbsp;I can go for days without a stop, or it can stop every five minutes. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
I've tried several 'cures' from the internet but the problem always returns.<br />
