Terminal server access question - 2003 server.

Hi,

I need all users on my terminal server to be able to associate file types through My computer - tools - folder options - file types - opens with - 'change'. For some users this option is greyed out. A certain program has to be associated.

Would logging in locally as the local admin and changing the file association effect everyone? Or do I need to set something in Group Policy???

Thanks for the link but is there a way to configure this without messing with the registry, i.e. logging in locally or group policy. As it appears to be one user affected,  would temporally giving the elevated domain permissions and then changing the the file association, then setting the permissions again ??
