Windows 2000 Server DNS resolving issues

Asked by BenthamLtd in Windows 2000 Server, Domain Name Service (DNS)

Tags: dns

Hi, we currently have a Win2k SP4 AD network with one DC running DNS, DHCP.
We have a firebox firewall.

I have enabled DNS Forwarders and added in my isp's dns.

Now every couple of hours we have diffcultly browsing the internet.
If I then quickly restart the DNS services it all starts working again.

So this points to an issue with the DNS service on the server.

The server also runs cyblock proxy. 5.70
