I have a win 2k server and I set it up on our domain and it can pull the users and groups off of active directory on the win 2k3 server which is set as the domain controller but when i try to share the drive it wont show up on the network. I tried sharing it from win 2k3 and from the file server itself but I can't figure it out. I went in, clicked on sharing (after it was set up on the domain) and it was already set as a shared folder E$ so i set a new share as just E and set the security as the user group that all the shared files on win 2k3 is set to but when i type in search for fileserver (the name of the server) it pulls up but won't let me access it without using the Administrator account set up on that computer. The user name is Administrator on that one and it's the same on the win 2k3 server and the passwords are the same as well, I thought that might be the problem but I can't change that to some other user name because it's default to Administrator. How do I share that folder using the user group on the win 2k3 server and allow access to all users on the network with those permissions?
