Set File / Folder Permissions in Server 2000

Asked by BobGipson in Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Server

What are the specific steps I need to follow to permanently set file and folder permissions in Server 2000? I want to set up a server to function only as a backup site for all the computers in our office. I have set up a shared directory on the server with a subdirectory for each computer. I want only the administrator and the specific computer user to have access to each subdirectory. Pretty new at this. Please be specific. Thank you.Start Free Trial
