my server's application log only shows last 90 minutes of events

I have a new customer with an older server, running Windows 2000 Server.  The machine itself doesn't seem to be in too bad shape.  But the Application Log is exhibiting weird behavior.   It's truncating itself so the log only shows the last 90 minutes of events.  (Or anyway, roughly 90 minutes.)  There are repeated warning messages concerning the following, but I don't know if these warnings are coincidental or are causing the truncation of the log...

Source:  SceCli
Event ID:  1202

"Security policies are propagated with warning.  0x534  No mapping between account names and security IDs was done"

I checked the Application Log properties which were vanilla, but I restored the default settings.  This didn't change the truncation.

The System Log is behaving normally, with events going back about two months.

Has anyone seen this behavior before?  Any idea what's going on?  Thanks.Start Free Trial
