Asked by exhaust in Windows 2000 Server
First of all I'm simply supporting this server but did not build it. I have the ability to go to a command prompt and type "Now" and this will show the current time this is what the output looks like.
Fri Nov 06 13:34:07 2009
Problem is if you compare this with the Date/Time properties, output of Now is 1hr ahead after the DST fallback. If I uncheck Automatically adjust clock for DST saving changes both times matches.
I need both time to match up or it causes issues with a custom in-house application.
Question:
1. Where does Now command get it's time source? This could be from an ActivePerl product I suspect that allows this command to work.
