Browse All TopicsI understand that there is a way to set up a trust between an DC and an MIT Kerberos5 server (in Windows 2003 Server, Enterprise), in such a way that the DC will accept credentials stored in the kerb5 Realm. How exactly is this done? didn't find much documentation about it, and fiddled around a bit but haven't gotten it.
Environment:
Windows 2003 Server, Freshly Installed, with Active Directory
Solaris 9 MIT Kerberos server (v5), containing thousands of users

Netman, This actually seems to be what I am looking for. Ive seen the link in your first posting... but not the second. Im going to give this a try tommorow (Thursday). If it works, youve got yourself the points. It seems that aside from this one, all the links I have seen seem to refer to all the scenarios EXCEPT relying primarly on the MIT KDC as the primary credential store.
Have you ever done this before? If so, do you know of any way to automate the account mappings? As in connect using ldap to update AD?
