Install from CD with ibm sever raid controler 6M
Hi,

I'm currenly facing about this.
I've made a bootable cd win 2Y3 with server raid 6M drivers integrated in the CD
My drives are correctly recognized and the installation works perfectly.

at the end of the install (after drivers, start menu item ...) the system reboot continualy.

Same CD works on a low level of ibm server raid.
drivers and firmware are at se same lastest version.

any idea how to debug.

Do you have a Serve Raid CD?  Have you tried to boot off the ServeRaid CD and install the W2K OS using that method?

Yup
it's detecting the onboard SCSI aswell and cannot load drivers for it. The serve Raid disk loads these up too. With all of the time you must be investing in this, it would be quicker to just run the serve raid setup.

This is fixed with the 8.4 RDAC.

It is recommended that you update to 8.4 Client code or later, when updating RDAC. The Utility package requires the same version of RDAC to make queries on devices. [...]"

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
