Browse All TopicsHi,
The user is getting the message that the remote access connection have reached its maximum limit. Whereas the user is not connected to the server from anywhere else. This I can verify through the TaskManager/Users. The remote access policy on the network is set such that a user can connect to the server with one session at a time. Multiple users can coonect at a time aswell. I don't want to disable that in order to solve this problem.
From the machine where the user is trying to connect, the other users can connect normally and the administrator can also connect to the server from the same machine. The user is unable to connect from the other machines aswell. There has been no change of properties for the user as he can connect normally before. I have looked at the remote access settings on the server they are fine. Infact the user settings is also same as the other user who can connect remotely to the server. This all activity is taking place internally within the network.
The server is Windows 2003 and the client is Windows XP. Access to the server is through Remote Desktop Connection.
Any one got the idea as to what has gone wrong ?
Quick solution would be highly appreciable.

It is likely simply a matter of sessions that were disconnected improperly. Go to the Windows 2003 Server and open Terminal Service Manager (under Administrative tools). Right-click on on the sessions and disconnect/reset them. You should then be allowed to log on remotely again.
