What if my clients are on Windows XP? Does their workstation license give me a TS license on the server?

Or, do I need to buy extra licenses for SQL Server and Terminal Services on top of the 20 CALs for Windows Server?

Windows XP workstations did not require separate Terminal Server CALs when accessing a Windows 2000 Server however this has now changed with Windows 2003 Server and all workstations (Windows XP or not) now require separate Terminal Server CALs to connect via Terminal Services.
Windows Server 2003 CALs are NOT Terminal Server CALs

Good question, and the answer is no. Terminal Services requires separate licenses as do SQL.
