Windows 2003 SBS configuration

Asked by jorvidu in Windows 2003 Server

Hi all;

 I want to configure a 2003 Windows Server this way.

 There it's a little LAN with a W2003 Server and a few XP's. First of all I want to configure the standard email not to pass Internet when it's sent for an address that's inside the LAN.

 Second thing, there is an IIS service, ok. I want to make the next thing, when a PC in the LAN just types http://demoweb or another URL, the explorer must open the associated Web that it's running in the server.

 At this time I have to typewrite: http://server1.xxx/demoweb, How I may avoid to write all that thing. I know that it has to do with the IIS config and DNS ... may you help me?...

 Just a few links with this explanatios should be rewarded!.

 Thanks anyway!.Start Free Trial
