I have a folder on my 2003 server that contains various things (like rtf docs), which I copied from another server. This folder and all subfolders and files all have read-only attributes making them unusable. I have gone to the top folder, and told it to remove read-only attributes on all files and subfolders, and it runs through a little process dialog box showing me it's doing its job. But when I check the files again, they are still read-only! I have tried everything, I have ownership of files, I have tried from command window. My clients that are using this folder from workstations get access denied if they try to write to the folder, or make changes. Please help.
