Browse All TopicsHi Folks,
I have an SBS2003 Server that had some difficulties with the install of SP1 for SBS, however i am not sure if this is related.
I get the following in the event log:
The Volume Shadow Copy service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Event ID: 7000
and
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Volume Shadow Copy service to connect.
Event ID: 7009
very early in the morning, and then when users try to log on to the domain their workstations either hang or they cannot access files...the server is also exceptionally slow to respond and requires to be rebooted (hard) and then the problem goes away for a day/two and then occurs again...seems to be in the morning mostly...
i am running Arcserve at 2.00am, but that appears to run ok, and also now running Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite...
Any thoughts?
