How to implement a backup server

Asked by bmarzouk in Windows 2003 Server

Tags: , ,

Hello,

I have one HP server running Windows 2003 small business & SQL server 2000 enterprise edition plus some important web services.

I need to implement a backup server so that if the main server failed suddenly for any reason (power supply, storage, RAM failure, ... ) the other server will replace it untill proactive maintenance done.

The backup server should be updated automatically with any updates done on the databases on the main server and created log files.

Please tell me how can I implement this plan and needed software.Start Free Trial
