i had to hide from address book from the GAL, and email the users the email address of the distribution list. Then restrict the users that could send to that email.<br />

I have a distribution list in AD, with approximately 3000 users in it. This is visible to everyone in the GAL. Is there a way i can partially hide it, so that only the administrators, and certain individuals can see it? I don't want a situation where a user accidently sends an email to 3000 people.<br />

Partially hide a distribution list

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
