Browse All TopicsHello,
I need to roll out this setting found in IE6 Advanced settings in the internet options. I tried creating my own Administrative Template shown below:
;-----------------Begin Code---------------
CLASS USER
CATEGORY !!ProxySettings
POLICY "Use HTTP 1.1"
KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Microso
Settings"
VALUENAME EnableHttp1_1
VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
END POLICY
POLICY "Use HTTP 1.1 Through Proxy Connections"
KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Microso
VALUENAME ProxyHttp1.1
VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
END POLICY
END CATEGORY
[strings]
Internet="Internet Explorer Advanced Settings"
ProxySettings="HTTP 1.1 Settings"
;----------------End Code------------------
By importing this, it shows up in the Group Policy Editor but does not seem to propagate to the users. Could someone please tell me if there is a way they know how to roll this setting as enabled for all users via group policy?
By the way, the users are on Windows 2000, using IE6
THANKS!
