Ive got a test server and domain setup at home and I want to, for the experience install and configure SMS Server 2003. I have no idea where to start as I have been told its very difficult to install, so not looking to rush into it. My server meets the recommended hardware spec.
My domain consists of:
Win2k3 DC - Running DNS, DHCP, RIS etc. All windows updates
4 XPsp2 workstations
4 XPsp2 laptops
I have the following required software installed on my server
IIS 6.0
I have downloaded: SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition
Do I need anything else. Where do I begin. Are there any guides on how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated. If you need any more information please ask.
Thanx.
Ben
