Browse All TopicsHello,
I am looking for possibility to create Remote Assistance invitation using some command line tool.
In our network I have several domains and I do not have trust relationship between them and because of that I am not able to offer from any server on the network Remote Assistance to any clients. Also, client machines are without mail or Windows Messenger client, so the only possibility is storing of invitation in file.
I would like to avoid usage of Microsoft Help and Support Center because it is to complicated for my clients. Best solution would be batch file which creates invitation which is valid e.g. 1 hour and stores it on some network drive.
Any suggestion?

Oops! I'm using Vista. That command doesn't work in XP.
You can create a shortcut to deploy to the client. The shortcut target is this:
hcp://cn=microsoft%20corpo
Name it Remote Assistance Request.
It's fairly easy to finish the rest of the Wizard from there.

To brikeyes:
Offering of remote assistance would be OK but (as I know) it works only within same domain and between trusted domains. I have several domains without trust relationship.
To Netman66:
Not good enough. It would be the best if wizard does not appear at all. With hcp://cn=microsoft%20corpo
