Event ID 7026
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
I get this on a HP Proliant ML150 G2 server.
My research on old threads from this site took me to this link

The solution for that question didn't work for me. I do know its related to having a USB keyboard and mouse hooked up to the server. The server comes with a PS2 keyboard and mouse but I use a KVM to switch between another server that is all USB.
I emailed HP and they sent me this link http://h20000.www2.hp.com/
but it has no solution for making sure the error is not logged.
I just want to make the service not run at all so it doesn't show up in the log.

Well it appears that I have found my solution on how to solve the issue. CurrentCon trolSet\Se rvices\i80 42prt edit the "Start" Value to 4.
You can boot into recovery console and type disable i8042prt or you can navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
This will change onboot_service to disabled.
Thanks GeekSquad!
