Windows 2003 Support Tools Sp1 vs sp2

Asked by frashii in Windows 2003 Server

Tags: , , , ,

I installed a Windows 2003 server today (Windows 2003 Enterprise Sp1), installed Service Pack 2, and then installed Exchange 2003.

While installing Exchange 2003, it said I needed to have the Windows Support tools and recommended I get them from my CD so I did.

My question is... Should I have created a slipstreamed Windows 2003 Sp2 cd and then installed the support tools from there ? (I forget if this will generate the 'new' ones'

If not, does anyone know where to find the Sp2 version of the tools ? If they exist.. I couldn' find them with a search.Start Free Trial
